James Gaspero, Jr. was born in Linwood, Pennsylvania and spent the majority of his life in Delaware County. In 2012, James moved to North Wilmington with his wife and daughter. However, he was no stranger to Delaware having attended Salesianum High School. James graduated from St. Joseph's University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2001. He was involved with the Cap & Bells Dramatic Arts Society at St. Joe's and was the Managing Director of the theater group in his junior and senior year. Following graduation, James spent a year as a juvenile probation officer for Delaware County in the City of Chester before he decided to pursue a law degree at Temple University and received his J.D. in 2005.

Shortly after graduating from Temple, Mr. Gaspero joined a Philadelphia law firm as an associate and for over 7 years worked on a variety of civil matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, landlord/tenant, breach of contract, complex corporate litigation matters involving fraud, usurpation of corporate opportunity, civil conspiracy and shareholder derivative suits. In 2013, James joined a law firm in Wilmington and for 9 years handled trust and estate litigation cases in the Delaware Chancery Court as well as a variety of insurance defense matters in the Delaware Superior Court before joining Nitsche & Fredricks in 2022.
